Paint with Purpose – Led by Erika Rose
Erika offers guided art workshops tailored to schools, daycares, workplaces, and community groups. Each session is an opportunity to:
-
Collaboratively paint a large group canvas or individual artworks
-
Learn about Aboriginal culture, symbols, and colour meanings
-
Engage in meaningful conversation and community-building
-
Explore identity and connection through art
These workshops are a testament to Erika’s growing impact in educational and community spaces. Whether it’s one big canvas for the group, or smaller canvases for each participant, the work collectively created becomes a visual expression of shared experience.
Art as Awareness
One of Erika’s recent projects with Ngalla Yorga Waangkan—a domestic violence support program—was a powerful example of art as a healing tool.
Over two workshops, Erika guided the women in designing t-shirts that told their stories.
Together, they explored colour symbolism, shared lived experiences, and built deeper connections through creative collaboration.
This project demonstrated the heart of Erika’s workshops: relationship-building, cultural education, and storytelling through art.
